We are calling on boxing clubs to provide clean and comfortable socks to people who need them. Socks are a small item, but they make a big difference in dignity, comfort, and health.

Start a team for your club, personalize your page, and rally your supporters. It is quick and easy and all funds go securely to The Good Fight Project.

Every $5 donated provides a new pair of socks. Your club will receive the socks and distribute them locally so the impact stays close to home.

Socks for the Streets

Powered by Your Local Boxing Community

The Need

People experiencing homelessness often lack access to one of the most basic essentials: clean, durable socks. They are one of the most requested and least donated items at shelters and outreach programs.

Socks provide comfort, protection, warmth, and dignity, yet the year-round need far exceeds the supply.

As fighters, coaches, and gym communities, we know what it means to step up when it counts. This campaign is our chance to fight for people who need it most.

What We’re Doing

We are uniting boxing gyms across the country to raise funds that will go directly toward purchasing high-quality Boxing Is Love socks made by BOXRAW. These socks are durable, comfortable, and ideal for everyday wear - the kind of quality that makes a real difference for someone living on the streets or in transitional housing.

Every five dollar donation = one pair of socks delivered to someone in need.

Our goal is $5,000, which will allow us to purchase and distribute 1,000 pairs of Boxing Is Love socks through participating boxing clubs.

How It Works

  1. Boxing clubs invite their supporters, families, and communities to donate through this campaign.

  2. All contributions are used exclusively to purchase Boxing Is Love socks in bulk at the lowest possible cost.

  3. No funds are distributed to clubs or kept personally.

  4. After the campaign ends, each club receives the exact number of socks their supporters helped raise.

  5. Clubs then distribute those socks to people experiencing homelessness in their own communities.

This ensures transparency, fairness, and a direct line from donation to impact.

Where the Socks Go

Each participating club determines the best way to reach people in need locally.
This may include:

  • Homeless shelters

  • Transitional housing programs

  • Street outreach teams

  • Mutual aid groups

  • Encampments

  • Direct distribution by coaches and athletes

This hyper-local approach ensures every pair reaches someone who will truly benefit.

Why the Boxing Community?

Boxing gyms are more than places to train, they are homes for discipline, service, belonging, and community.

This campaign reflects what makes our community special: when we see a need, we fight for it.

“Socks for the Streets” is our collective effort to bring comfort and dignity to those who need it most.

Your Impact

With just five dollars, you place a high-quality pair of Boxing Is Love socks into the hands of someone experiencing homelessness.

Small contributions add up fast, especially when powered by passionate boxing communities across the nation.

Let’s show what fighters can do outside the ring.

Transparency Statement

All contributions to this campaign are processed through FightCause and used solely to purchase Boxing Is Love socks in bulk.
No funds are distributed to gyms or kept personally. Clubs receive socks in direct proportion to what their communities raise.

Clear. Simple. Impactful.

How do clubs receive socks?

After the campaign ends, each participating club receives the exact number of socks equal to the donations raised through their network. Socks are shipped directly to each club for local distribution.

How will the funds be used?

What does five dollars provide?

Every five dollar donation provides one pair of high quality Boxing Is Love crew socks for someone experiencing homelessness.

Why socks?

Socks are one of the most requested and least donated essentials at shelters and outreach programs. Clean and durable socks provide comfort, protection, and dignity, and the need exists all year.

Who is organizing this?

The campaign is organized by Coach Josh through FightCause in partnership with participating boxing clubs. Coach Josh coordinates the purchase and distribution of socks, while clubs deliver them to their communities.

Is my donation tax deductible?

This campaign does not provide tax receipts. Contributions are used to purchase socks that are donated directly to people in need.

How can my club participate?

Clubs can join by reaching out directly through FightCause. A dedicated sub campaign will be created for your club so your supporters can give through your specific page. Your club will receive socks equal to the amount your sub campaign raises, and you will distribute them locally.

How can I help besides donating?

You can share the campaign, invite friends and family to give, and encourage your local boxing gym to become a participating club.
